VERY ITCHY elbow but when I try to scratch it I CAN'T feel my skin AT ALL. No amount of topical medication and stinging alcohol could help alleviate the STING-LIKE ITCH.  

It's like it has gone NUMB. Meanwhile the ITCH just continues.

This reminded me of the ITCHY patch of rash that developed on the soft inner side of my upper arm. According to the doctor who diagnosed me with TB (tuberculosis) it was the skin manifestation of the illness.
